/ Manifesto

At the Copenhagen Co'creation Summit and Seminar, the Copenhagen Co'creation introduced a draft manifesto. The main objective was to create a cohesive Copenhagen Co’creation Manifesto 09, stating a joint set of business actions, containing a set of principles and recommendations, designed by the network.

Based on the agenda “Designing for Change”, the manifesto should state what the network set out to achieve around the joint topic. However, it became obvious, that rather than a conclusive dogma, the draft manifesto served as a platform for sharing ideas, experiences, and knowledge. With a co-creative mindset, the manifesto was re-written several times, bringing forth collaborative mindset at the same time.

Instead of presenting 1 manifesto, we would like to celebrate the comprehensive discussions and the enthusiasm, and present as many as 4 manifestos. All 4 manifestos were created on August 29 and 30 by more than 150 participants, who gathered and worked hard on creating the Copenhagen Co’creation manifesto 09, celebrating co-creation as a mindset empowered by people taking part, responsibility and action towards new ways.

Thank you all for your involvement and input to Copenhagen Co'creation 2009. We hope to see you next year at the Copenhagen Co’creation 2010. A new co-creation challenge and task is to be introduced soon!

We encourage you to follow the discussions, ideas, suggestions by tracking the changes taking place in the 4 manifesto drafts developed during two intensive days in August:
